mine took over a year. 5 top's . 17 didgits was a point of contention with the DMV in sac and CHP in Truckee. DMV left one zero off and I had to do a lot of running aroud to get it fixed .Wasted a lot of time and money,ect. My reg and licence cost $ 2000. cause of all the bull. Both my other cars have 17 didget numbers, check your newer cars. The DMV might have just been mess'in with me . Who knows, maybe they will like you more than me. I hope so , for your sake. Good luck.
