Wouldn't the pushrod tubes running through the intake ports be an issue with port injection? First, you'd have to mount the injectors farther away, up the runner. Second, the injector would be pointed right at the pushrod tube. Pointed otherwise would send the fuel against one side wall or the other trying to avoid hitting the tubes.
