Something else that may be of interest so you might want to take a look is the Bay Area Cobra Club (BACC) Snakes to the Lake in late Sep. Went last year and am planning on going again this year. Really fun run from the Sacramento area up to South Lake Tahoe and then activities around the lake. A three day event with a group of really fine people.
