I asked the same question to the FORD FE board and I looked at a lot of other info on the web and it seems that everybody agrees, cross drilling is old technology, it weakens the crank, it does not work, by that I mean that it's primary purpose is to increase the
oil fed to the rod bearings when in fact the opposite happens. I guess I will order my crank without cross drilling. Barry, what are you views on this? Thanks
