Greg,
I just did installed mine this weekend on a 427 side oiler.

1) There was another hole for a plug in the backing plate that had to be drilled. Lakewood drilled (2) 3/4" holes near the 15741 in the instructions. However I had a third plug that was above those two holes that I had to drill for.

2) (2) of the 1" bolts near the top (marked "C") where there is some thickened material were not long enough. I need to replace them with 1 1/4" long bolts.

3) I did have some bolts left over - is that the sign of a well done project ?

I used ARP flywheel bolts, I believe (6) 7/16"-20 x 1". Cost about $12 at the local speed shop.

The clutch came with special bolts that had a shoulder on them.

Finally, the Lakewood Offset dowels were a major pain but I had to use them to get the alignment within the desired amount. The instructions said "remove old dowels". Hahhh - that is a 2 or 3 hour step.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Darrell
