Dan, the July 4th parade in Heber has been lots of fun. I think there were pretty close to 20 Cobras last year, about 40 or so Corvettes, and the typical small town assortment of groups and displays. Don't know where all the people come from but they line both sides of the highway for over a mile and beg us to do burnouts. Last year, the law men told us that we couldn't do those any more. Maybe they'll forget about the warning this year? I'm sure they would be understanding if someone got a leg cramp and accidently smashed the gas once or twice. Jim Olsen (Mr. Pink) has always been extremely hospitable in the past and invited us to a Friday night party and Saturday breakfast at his cabin in Heber. He's selling the cabin and I don't know if history will repeat itself, but if not, there are several restuarants in the area. We've gathered at the Sawmill Motel, where most of the Cobras stay, to watch the excellent fireworks display and eat pizza, Saturday night . Its a nice ride and the temperatures are at least 20°s cooler. Hope you can make it. The parade will be Saturday, June 30th this year. (yes, I did get a kickback from the Chamber of Commerce)
