I had a friend who tore his bicep off where it connected near the elbow.
He had an external frame (cast) for a while but made a full recovery and
was able to resume his work as a stuntman which included skydiving and
just about everything else. You should be back to normal soon - modern
medicine is great. That frame of his looked like something you could build from an expensive erector set.
