nah...damn carburetor had a leak from one of the bowls and it turns out that the thread for the inlet was stripped. (Guess that will teach me to accept 'gifts' from friends...should have bought a new one, what's a few hundred dollars more now LOL ???) I can't get another bowl until Monday!!!!! BUT I did figure out why it wouldn't start...we had the firing sequence completely wrong. I have read a whole bunch of threads on this forum about 351 and 302 firing sequences, so I am not alone in the confusion. Turns out I had the 351 firing sequence (which is also that for later 302s), and I should have had the original 302 sequence.

Hold your breath for me on Monday, and I will see if I can get that stainless cut for you over the weekend. You can add it at ANY time later, so it should be fine.
