Sorry for the confusion. The 6 litre block I was referring to is the Truck block (as Mike stated) and has been used for hi-po applications in Australia for years now. These blocks are a real bargain and can be bought brand new with a 4.000 inch crank for $2000. Hence by the time you get rods, pistons, bearings, a new cam etc. you end up around $4500. Even with a very mild cam you'll get over 300 rwkW's out of this...
If you were on a real tight budget you could even use your exsisting cam (it would be very torquey, though she would run out of puff pretty quick).
If your engine recently went out to lunch, I reckon this would be just the ticket...
