Rick,

Is this going to cause a flow problem? What kind of epoxy are you using? What will you use to machine the built up areas, a grinder?

I would like to thank you for all the input. You and many others (Sal, Dean L., Kris, etc...) have been a huge help and inspiration for my build. Your dedication to 'getting it right' has inspired me to do the same.

Even though I'm putting a sbf in a 427 car (temporarily-just to get on the road), my goals have evolved into a more original theme. I'm going to try and replicate CSX 3020.

The Mallory electric fuel pump is a no go, in it's place-Stewart Warner 240-A's. The stainless hose and red and blue fittings are going to be replaced with black hose and original style fittings. Webers instead of carb. I'm seriously looking into a single stage rangoon red paint instead of a modern 2 stage paint. Black or white side-pipes instead of the Jet Hot silver, so on and so forth.

Thanks again,
John
