However I don't have a conventional front end. I have an old Aussie Torana front end that happened to have a hole right in the middle....I had a long steel plate cut out with a small leg welded on one end that catches the back of the front cross member, a hole drilled for a 5/8" grade 8 bolt that goes through the crossmember and a hole drilled in the front big enough to put in a heavy duty clevis to attach the rope. It hangs out even with the front most point of the car. While thin and black, seldom noticed. Have towed car slowly with this for over 5 miles without a scatch. While this means it can only be towed from the front, I'm sure there are heaps of other ways to pull or tow. Where are your attachement points?

I had to get mine towed, it was on a flat bed and they used the front and rear tie down ring that is on the car. He used a 4X4 to keep the cable from coming up into the
oil cooler. He did a great job.
