Those turtle shell shreds are pretty tough on the tires.
I doubt it was because of any high regard for turtle lives.

After reading all the stuff that went on with one driver there,Miles,he was pretty serious about trying to squash a frog.
He certainly forged new trails in the Great Frog Chase.
From what I read one frog hide behind a railroad tie spike and jumped clear just before Miles hit the spike,taking out his oil cooler.
