My painter was very impressed with the body and had to do less prep work than he expected. The amount of work involved with painting a Kirkham really comes with stripping the car down and building it back up again. If you want it painted right, then you need to strip the car down to the body and frame. This is where the larger amount of work comes in but it is really not too bad.
