Well that's about 7 or 8. Not bad.
I had a look at the Bureau of Meteorology's site last night to work out the best time to visit in terms of rain and the risk of frostbite.
December would be OK and we'd beat the Xmas rush. The thought of getting stuck behind convoys of cararvans and motorhomes leaves me cold.
As far as a route goes, I reckon from Devonport we'd take a right and do an anti-clockwise lap. Strachan, Macquarie Harbour, Queenstown, across to Hobart, up the east coast and back to Devonport via a few wineries on the north coast.
Any other suggestions?
