Ron & Jeff, Thanks for the kind words.

A special thanks to Ron for makeing the entire 6 state trip with me. It would have been a much longer day without seeing you in the rear view all day. Not to mention the car stories all day.

I think the people were the highlight of the day. We meet with seveal familiar faces and few new ones. Most notably for me was meeting Pierre and his wife who it turns out live all of 4 miles from me.

The suprise of the day goes to the guy in the black Superformance. It turns out we happened to pick his local gas station for one of our stops. He was just a bit suprised to see 5 other Cobras there to great him. It was a real treat for all of us. His car was filled with his own personal mods that were beatifuly executed.

By the time we left Maine there were six cars in the conga line as we crossed into NH. A couple of cars pealed away as we headed for the NH stop. Despite the cool weather most of us sampled the ice cream. The tastiest treat was that new Shelby Mustang D&B brought. Ron, Pierre and I said fairwells to the others and headed off for the last leg to VT and dinner.
Over shrimp and salads we talked more about family than cars but the conversation was great as new friends became better aquanted. A special congrasts to Pierre and his wife who were celebrating there anniversary.

Will I plan another NE Cannonball cruise for next year? Probably not. After all Ron and I can say "Been there, done that." Will I plan another event of some kind? Oh yea, I've got a few ideas......
