It's very simple. Shelby has both HST and Hi-Tech/SPF building cars for them. They are CSX cars, built to Shelby specs. They are not "rebadged" anything. They are Shelby Cobras. Just like original Shelby Cobra's were built by AC and sold by Shelby.

Both cars are built to the same specs, but there ARE subtle differences. I have seen several Hi-Tech built cars in the past few weeks, and they have many "detail" differences from the HST built cars. Nothing that makes them any less of a Cobra, just noticable differences if you've seen an HST car. Both are correct, because both are CSX Cobras. Just like there were many differences in original Cobra production details.

And for what it's worth, both HST and Hi-Tech built CSX Cobras are VERY nicely built cars. Anyone should be proud to own either build car.
