My favorite, and the reason I bought mine, were obviously the CSX cars (based on nostalgia, and solidness of the ride). My car was the 16th Shelby spec CSX from SPF, and it looked like they had already built a hundred of them. I have looked at Lyn Parks' collection and have seen the HST cars as well. All have variations and are still very nice.

When we see one flying down the road, we all SHOUT "COBRA!" with excitement and a pointed finger (even when alone!) no matter what brand it is. Personally, I think SAI/XK's/SPF are doing a fine job keeping the dream alive (I'm not being paid for this, JMHO).

Now...Does anyone have a free engine and tranny...I seem to have run out of money (But happy anyway :-).
I guess I missed your point, sorry. I didn't read "obvious" into any of your observations, CSX cars or otherwise, nostalgia carries little meaning with me. I guess it's important you have observed Mr. Parks collection. It sounds like he has a nice one. Is your commentary an endorsement, observation? Very nice cars, but after that I lost your message. I have no free engine or transmission to offer up.
