Thanks, I had heard that before but I couldn't remember where! It was either at a car show or one of the forums but when I did a search it turned up nothing. I have fluorescent dye in my oil and you can see the cork weeping around the covers -- the little tabs are bright green under the ultraviolet light. I only get a drop or two after a ride though and, IT IS WRITTEN, that three drops or less on an FE is considered bone-dry tight. I have the Fel-Pro rubber gaskets (not the blue stripe) sitting around so the next time I pull the valve covers I'll toss those on. It just bugs me to see a drip, no matter how small it is.
