For those of you who felt the need to blast the "check writers", of which I am one, you might want to re-read Bill's post. The a$$holes he refered to all built their cars! Not all of us have the requisite skills to build the cars even though we may have the skills required to plan, spec, monitor, and maintain them. I don't have the skills required to perform good masonry or structural steel work either, but as a Quality Control Manager with 25 years of experience, I sure as hell know a class job from a poor one!
