Philm is correct, you need to have the same style of crash foam in the centre of your s/wheel as you have to use on the dash leading edge.
I am using a four spoke momo and these s/wheels come with the padding.
To use a motolite or similar one has to wait until after engineering / rego.
Just part of the raft of items that mysteriously drop off the car post reg. and are replaced over night by the garage fairy.
