If you are serious about buying interstate, give the main engineer here a call.

He lives in northern NSW, but does most of the Cobra, Daytona & GT40 approvals in Gold Coast & Brisbane area. I expect some also in NSW.

He knows exactly what is involved and would be the best person to do the engineering.

We looked at selling our old QLD Cobra to a person in NSW, Ray said it would just need engineers certificate and get a pit inspection. There are ways to minimise the work involved here, I'll drop you a pm with the finer details.
