Smile smiths gauges and lucas?
I believe the SC Cobras with the PSI gauge instead of the fuel gauge used 2 fuel pumps, pump #1 pick up tube was set a little higher inside the fuel tank and when the driver ran out of fuel he switched over to pump #2 which had the pick tube mounted lower in the fuel tank giving enough fuel to get him to the pit stop.
