Yes... powersurge is absolutely correct on power loss to wheels from crank. The engine i have was sold as having 600 at crank with high octane gas and no sidepipes. But when on the car and i've finely gotten close to tuned in... its about 440hp at wheels on 93 octane. Which is close to 25% loss. But to be honest.... if i had regular high performance goodrich street tires on there i wouldn't be able to control when dropping hammer. The race tires help keep me attached to earth. So if you can get 375-400hp to wheels , thats plenty to scare yourself and say thank you Jesus! (or whatever God you prefer!)
