Mike, one of the big myths of webers is that you have to know all these secrets to get them to run correctly. I found my weber installation on my 427really fun , and tuning has also been a pleasure. Once you sit down and learn the theory of them , then tuning is easy (not cheap). They are about half the price of a stack efi setup and 4 times the price of a good Holley and manifold. The performance has been better than expected.
