Default Museum of Transportation Pictures

The Museum of Transportation had a car show on Saturday with special tribute to Carroll Shelby and all Shelby inspired products. Everything was there, including 2 real ones, about 10 replicas, a bunch of Shelby Mustangs (including one R-code), Shelby Dodges and a VW. The only thing missing was a package of Shelby Chili.

The weather was fantastic. Partly cloudy with temps in the mid 70's. One of the originals, Jay Bentley's CSX3318 was featured inside the Museum. It has a 427 with webers.

Outside of the Museum, part of the manicured grounds was full of cars, with about 90 cars in attendance.

An original slabside. Sorry, but I did not get his name or the CSX #. But he did say he bought the car for $3500 in the late 60's and has driven it twice to California and back. It was total unrestored.

There were about 10 cobra replicas in attendance ...

As usual, I had to chase off the good looking girls with a stick ...

Three brand new Ford GT's ..

Everyone I talked to had a good time at the show.

Edited - just deleted some photo's
