I applaud you for taking on the task of doing the research, but you should tell your hubby to get off his rear and get involved in the purchase! Yes, this is the ulitimate "toy", but there a lot of pitfalls in buying and registering a car in California. As Scott mentioned, there are also a lot of different flavors of car. It pays to look at all of your options.
