Tan,

I ran the power (wire that was connected to the "BAT" terminal of my keyed ignition switch) through a 30 amp rocker switch. On my car the source of that wire is the fuse box. So essentially, you are just inserting a kill switch between your power source and your ignition switch. You can then "hide" the switch anywhere that is practical within your cockpit.

In my case, the kill switch only effects stuff that is controlled by the ignition switch. It does not kill power to the entire car like a battery shut-off.
