Ok here goes ... instead of converting a valuable 427 dual point ..why not go to any autopartstore and buy a rebuilt distributor for the latest FE series motor ..370's came in school buses .. take that Duraspark distributor and bolt it right in ..then you need to search for a RED strain relief duraspark I calif 1977 302 only 1978 - 1979 ..which is the higher output Module. the rest ..like wiring is available right of the internet. Back in the 80's FMS used to sell a nice kit which included all the parts because you HAVE TO USE A DURASPARK COIL also ... I think it was because it has a built in ballast rsistor .. that can also be purchased at an autoparts store.
