The inductor that replaces the old "cam" should come up off of the shaft after you remove the c-clip in the center( below the lube wick). Then the cam can be removed form the dual point and the inductor should slide right on. Pretty easy conversion , I think, although I have only done the vacuum advance ones. I'll examine the 2 dual point ones in the shop, but I think they are all built pretty standard as far as that part.
