As far as I can tell the Daytonas did not have air jacks until the 1965 Daytona race.
The Penske/Hall Corvette Grand Sport had them at Sebring in 1964. There were 5 Grand Sports (or six, depending on who you talk to), and only the Penske/Hall GS-005 coupe and the Penske owned GS-001 roadster at the 1966 Sebring race had them.
I don't know of any sports car that used them in racing prior to 1964.
I'm pretty sure that it was Agajanian (sp?) who invented it for Indy cars, but I don't really have much interest in Indy so I'm not exactly sure when.
