Since I've had no response I'll ask another question which will reveal my complete ignorance. Doesn't the Lakewood alignment have something to do with starter alignment? I've read that the bellhousing alignment is to insure that the ring gear doesn't contact the bellhousing. The starter screeches but turns the engine over. No obvious damage to ring gear or starter gear. I really want this fixed before installing the engine/tranny.
