Safety wire is used primarily on hard-to-reach bolts that may not be inspected for up to twenty years and/or 200,000 miles in some cases. While primarily aircraft industry standard, automotive use is not widespread (Indy Car, formula and many endurance road racing classes use safety wire extensively). Cobras are maintenance-intense cars and may not require extensive use of safety wire, the one exception being the knock-off wheels.
With that said, Jag rears have many somewhat hard-to-reach bolts and would benefit from being safety wired.
