a good quailty GT40 replica will cost you 75-110 K. The most common ones found in the US are CAV's and Superformances, both made in South Africa. Frans' car from RCR is really coming on strong but there are only a few on the road as of now, but that is changing fast. I found my car on the GT40 forum and love it. The MK1's are prettier than the MK11's, but if you want a big block ther MK11 is the way to go. I highly suggest you find one to drive. They are not easy to live with as they are very low and vision is limited, however,I drive mine 3 times as much as my Kirkham. It is cool in the summer and warm in the winter and is absolutly the best looking car I have ever seen.
