rspears, from what I've seen, there are lovers of the aluminum FFR setups and there are haters. Everyone is different. the FFR is harder to seal up because of it.

Did you check out SV and HM websites? They both are similar in construction. Both have open bottom frames just like all the other kits out there, and they both have steel foot boxes.

There are a lot more options than that. ERA and Unique also offer complete turn-key minus cars and will arrange for engine installation as well (they can't "legally" do it themselves). I'm sure there are others. It all depends on how much you want to pay vs. do yourself.
