I have always avoided (like the plague) selling a car to a friend or family member. Whew, is THAT asking for trouble. So when I sold my Excal to a fellow I never met before, I took the check and 'spit the scene' post haste. He kept calling, nicely, wanting more info on the car, etc. Over the years we've become great friends, and I still get to drive the Excal on occasion! Go figure, maybe it's OK to sell a COBRA to a friend...?

Nah, I just got lucky.

Really nice specs on the motor, sounds like the compression may be a bit to high for my taste. Not crazy about the solid roller lifter cam either, the rollers being subject to failure around 8 to 10K miles. Other than that the basic specs leave me drooling! Sure it's worth $60K, but finding a buyer at that price will be tough and the competition in that range is fierce. $50K or so is probably more realistic. The trans and rear gear choice is interesting, I like that a LOT. Hard to beat the look of dual fours. Whew, NICE ride!
