I assume you are writing from the UK, if you are looking at a Kirkham, it would be a waste to put in a 2.0L V-8, what company makes that little of one....if you want ecomony, try the the Rover V-8's, good economy and reasonable power for their size. Have you checked out the DAX or the AK? Both really nice cars and good back up. Cruise through the UK Cobra Site and you will find heaps of nice cars there with various motor options for power and economy.
