I just sold my daily driver 2004 GTO and bought a beater to drive. Told the wife the the old car is gone but now I am just gonna bank what I was spending before. Hopefully I can pull the trigger in the spring on the kit and hopefully have it done this time next year. I am psyched.
Welcome to the forum! I was stationed at Langley many moons ago & now have my son & his family out there, nice area.

I was a Chevy guy most of my life but when I built my Cobra decided to go with a SB Ford for obvious reasons. Although, put in whatever motor you want, it's your car, do it the way you want to. The only person you have to please is yourself.

Plenty of good natured kidding goes on around here when someone has a bowtie powered Cobra though.

You're right, plenty of research is needed before you buy/build a Cobra. You can do a forum search on this topic, it's been covered many times.

Stick around, you will learn a lot from this site! Good luck with the Cobra hunt!
