I have a 5.0/354 EFI 375 rwtq & 323 rwhp, TKO 600 .64 with 3:55 gears, 25.25" tires. First gear 2.87 is great. 70 mph at 2100 rpms. I can cruise at 1300, 1400, 1500 rpm with easy, no trailer hitch jerk.
