Spoke to RK of SAAC this should stir the pot.

Dear Sir, please allow me a moment of your time. Recently I have heard
>>> that
>>> Kirkham Cobras will be allowed in the registry. I would like to voice my
>>> opinion against this.
I do not approve. They do not belong any more than
>>> an
>>> ERA or a FF. Thank you for allowing me a moment of your time, Greg

Rick thank you for your quick reply and the explanation. I now understand,

Greg:
Some people seem to think that putting a car (i.e. a class or series of car)
in the registry grants it some sort of legitimacy. That's a perception on
their part. All we are trying to do is provide as complete a picture of
these cars as we can. We want to define "what is" as well as "what isn't."
We realize that when a car is "in the registry" it means something to the
owners of those cars but that is an unintended consequence. It's a pleasant
coincidence for them but it is not our goal.
Rick
I like his explanation when he said that some people seem to think that as soon as it is included it is somhow legit.
Only my HO, go ahead folks, open fire.
