Original Cobra bodies and chasis were outsourced. Shelby used AC to supply the rollers and with the 427 opted not to produce it inhouse and allowed AC to build the rollers. Fact.

There are parallels in the history of both series.

Yes, Oinie. I agree, it was funny but truth be told, after the laughing is over we are still left with the facts.... its in the registry on its own merits and the distinction in the era it was built as stated in SAAC home page. No secret there. Makes sense to distinguish old from new.

Interesting point. Billy Andrews told me there are only about 100 aluminum bodied Continuation seires Shelbys right now. Thats less then the original series. Pretty rare by any standard.
