generally, squealing or brake noise is from harmonics in the caliper. To fix this there is shims that go on the back of the pads, or there is "goop" that you put on the back of the pads whcihc both stop the vibrations. So to answer your question yes these pads are quite BUT there are other things you need to do to make them trully quite. This is not the case with carbon on carbon brakes or other types of race setups.
