We have a local 1/8th mile that is sponsored by a group called racelegal.com that will let us get a little below our tech but not too far. The do require the arm restraints for sub 7.50 in a cobra but we always fill in the tech form for 7.5 - 9.0 and get away with it. I was running consistantly in the 7.40's with standard street setup and the Goodyear billboard tires and 3.31 gear. Tried launching hard but just couldn't get the 60 foot time below 1.8. Soft launching got me in the low 1.7 range at 60 feet and finished at 7.40's and high 90's.
