Allen: Shame on you. You should know the rules here. Only Coninuation Shebys are fair game to knock. Watch it there buddy.

Fast 4. Having read all the above posts, very simply, if you can swing it buy an aluminum Shelby. You won't be sorry. Next to an original it is the "brass ring". No excuses will be needed. Period. I have been told by HRE that a price increase to $124K is near for the aluminum Shelby rollers. Next choice would be the glass Shelby. There is a reason glass Shelbys are in the same price range as a KMP. After those two I'd get the KMP before anythng else

As to denting or dinging, it won't take well to ball peen hammers but there fairly stout for aluminum being a slightly thicker gauge then the original series.

Even with glass, you may not be as concerned with dings but tell me you won't worry about scratches? I'm not saying I don't babysit my car I do to a large extent but would it be much different if it were a glass car with a nice paint job? Probably not much different. Despite the allegations that my car is a "Trailer Queen" iI actually drive it a fair amount. It currently has 4700 miles.
