Richard,
Take the ones you have to OSH or Home Depot and size them up. Screws are cheap enough to buy a couple different sizes that might work (better than multiple trips to the store). Just be sure they are not too long or that may be an even worse misadventure (cracked windahield). I have a pair of wire strippers that have some holes with threads made to cut screws to length which I find helpful when you just need that oddball size. Good luck.
