Also, be aware that Aces have a different body arc than Cobras (because of the tall Bristol engines) and changing the arc is a major problemmo since it involves re-arcing the big tube inder the cowl. Cobra Windshield, top, etc. will not fit. Better to just look at the Vin plate and see what it starts with. BEX was Bristol export. AEX was ACE export. Try to dig up the original engine. or maybe even convert it over to a Ruddspeed Ace. (Easier to get engine parts). No small project here. Been there..done that. Rotsa Ruck
