Hi, I mail you from France

I’ve got a “302 short bloc engine”, from 1985. I put a RPM performer kit, which includes EDL-7121 intake manifold, and EDL-60229 cylinder head.

My problem is that when I put the FEL-MS90361 gaskets on, (which are placed front and rear of the intake manifold), and make the clamping torque with my torque spanner (at 2,7 Nm or even at 2,2 Nm), my gasket splits inself all over his length, and let escape some oil. The gasket is completely crushed.

Could you help me about this, and tell me how to do, because it’s the third time I change this gaskets... Which gaskets should I use ??? I’ll send you a picture if you think that can help...

Thanks in advance, bye

Domi
