I just went through the registration process in NH. My son and I built a Factory Five and registered in NH, 3 Jul 07. NH does not recognize FF as a car builder such as Ford or Chrysler---I am registered as a 1965 "homemade" MK3 Roadster. NH requires you be put through the inspection machine whether or not you are OBD2 or not, pre 96 requires just the VIN be entered in the machine. I am an inspection station in NH---the car is INSPECTED as a 1965 "other". I called DMV and had a Highway Enforcement officer come to my garage and issue an 8 digit NH VIN, which is a little 1 by 3 inch sticker that goes on the frame. It almost looks like a salvage title sticker. The VIN was issued when I showed him the Certificate of Origin that was issued by Factory Five. Hope this clear up confusion?
