Well my brother won overall at the Cobra Nationals a few years ago with only 220rwhp. The more power you have, the harder and more of a handful the car is on the track and the less reliable it becomes. So no arguments from me.
Sideshow, it's not the height of the Boss that is the biggest problem...it's the width. At least with modern overhead cam engines they are easier to fit into tight spaces as the plugs are on top and the exhaust are underneath the heads.
