Maybe look at making some changes to make it more friendly to your other half. Looking to make the clutch lighter, getting the right seating distance, steering light enough. These cars can be made female friendly without too much expense.
My partner drives the cars as much as I do. I just take her to an empty parking lot for some practice first, to get a feel for it, to get her confidence up. I get her to practice starts, stops and turns before heading out on the road. Also being able to park it and not try to dry steer it etc. Also got to teach her to watch out for driveways, speed bumps etc.
I'll be doing the same with the new Cobra.
It gets her really interested in the cars and her friends think there is nothing cooler.
Bryan, I think you will be surprised at how much she enjoys driving it. You might have trouble getting her out of it.
