Ill try and encourage the treasurer to have a drive, considering she is tolerating my building this ridiculously expensive toy, I think I owe her a drive.

Plus I have the added benefit of a number of WW2 airstrips within easy reach in Darwin.

Wide open spaces, bitumen and nothing to hit. I plan to teach myself to drive the car on one of them, and rip through some sets of cruddy tyres whilst unlearning what I thought I knew about driving fast cars.

I think the wife will have a go, spin out a couple of time and hand over the keys. If she likes it, the next one will be a kirkham.
